TUESDAY – JANUARY 4, 2011 – Sydney – 8 PM – We spent our last day locally:
· Walked to the Domain and on the way, saw a pig statue with slop dripping from its mouth in front of the Sydney Hospital—go figure!
· Visited the Royal Botanical Gardens (beautiful!—loved the Asian garden with all the different bamboos and the pretty butterflies)
· Saw part of the live “Wind in the Willows” production in the park
· Walked along the harbor and saw the Opera House view where it is under the Harbor Bridge
· Sat in Mrs. MacQuaries’ chair--carved stone (by the way) ^ (above)!
· Walked back through town & saw a cupcake shop so insisted we have a "late" birthday cupcake and we did! (Mine was chocolate or R, & Geoff's was caramel) YUM!

· Had a lovely pizza, garlic bread and wine dinner for $24 at the Office Hotel
· Back to our room to wash laundry and pack!
· Geoff says to me tonight “I’ll tell you what, I haven’t seen any dog shite while here!” J That’s his special memory of our trip to Australia! He makes me laugh!!!!
